Owner of Valberg Imaging, MV Photo Productions & Canadian Nikon Ambassador. Michelle Valberg is sought after as a landscape, wildlife and portrait artist on the global stage.
Michelle has self-published four books: Look Beyond… The Faces & Stories of People with HIV/AIDS, Dare to Dream… A Celebration of Canadian Women, a children’s book about Canada’s north, entitled Ben and Nuki Discover Polar Bears and Arctic Kaleidoscope… The People, Wildlife and Ever-Changing Landscape.
Michelle works as a resource photographer for companies such as Adventure Canada and Abercrombie & Kent as well as private clients wishing to secure her talents as official guide on their once-in-a-lifetime trips.
A tireless philanthropist, Valberg founded Project North in 2009, a not-for-profit organization committed to delivering education and sport-based opportunities to youth in Canada’s Arctic. Since its inception, $700,000 in new hockey equipment has been delivered to more than 20 Inuit communities.
Michelle is frequently invited to speak at numerous events about her diversified work in both the photographic and philanthropic field.
Michelle lives in Ottawa and is dedicated to providing portrait and commercial photography services to her city.
